Did you join us last night for the 75th Anniversary of Greenbelt Photo Show reception? If not, you missed great 1930 jazz by the Greg Meyer Jazz Trio and the awards ceremony! BIg congratulations to the winners: Cynthia Cummings, Nora Simon, Rich Renomeron, and Leslie Olsen!

New Deal Cafe Pays Down Its Debt

"Basking in its growing financial stability, the café cooperative shares the good news at annual members meeting. Cheering, clapping and whistling greeted New Deal Cafe Board of Directors President Michael Hartman's announcement — the major revelation of the cooperative's annual members meeting Sunday — that the cafe has paid off its major debts to banks, including Bank of America."

Our new air conditioner is here! Brown's Refrigeration started installing it at 7am on Thursday, and it was cranking out fresh, chilly air by 7pm this evening. Come join us for a refreshing meal!
