Friends of New Deal Cafe Arts (FONDCA)

FONDCA sponsors the Visual and Performing Arts and monthly artists receptions at the New Deal Cafe. Funding is also provided for the popular outdoor concert series in Roosevelt Center, a highlight of which is the Annual Songwriter's Festival in July.

FONDCA is a non-profit, tax exempt 501c(3) organization founded in 2002 whose mission is to provide fundraising and other support for the performing, visual, and literary arts and cultural activities of the New Deal Cafe co-op, at the cafe, in Roosevelt Center and in the surrounding community. Tax-deductible donations can be made online or by check to the Friends of New Deal Cafe Arts (FONDCA).

FONDCA rents wall space at the cafe for the monthly art exhibits, so your donation directly supports the cafe. Your donation to FONDCA can be applied to a specific area like "concerts" or "art shows" or "rent". Simply mark your preference in the memo space on your check or on the PayPal donation page.

FONDCA is an all-volunteer organization. Our fundraising activities include a rummage sale and refreshment sales at the outdoor concerts, pet expo, and the Labor Day festival.
