Masquer-aid the cafe ball

 

 

Join us for a night of fun AND fundraising at the New Deal Cafe in Greenbelt. Like many musical venues and businesses, the New Deal Cafe is still dealing with immense financial challenges as we continue to recover from COVID and its aftermath. We are hosting this Masquer-AID to raise $10,000 to support the Cafe’s music and arts program. Get ready to don your favorite mask and dance the night away at the Masquer-AID the Cafe Ball, featuring the music of Just Stones and the Wild Anacostias! The Fuss - dynamic ska, rocksteady, and early reggae with a sound that pays tribute to the music of 1960’s Jamaica and the British Mod scene, while putting a modern slant on these timeless styles.
Sunday, October 1st at 5:30pm:
This Could Go Boom! Artist Showcase:  Beyond producing records, this not-for-profit record label This Could Go Boom! brings you the best in local, regional, and touring music from artists whose gender identities have been marginalized and underrepresented in the music landscape. They're partnering with New Deal Cafe for incredible monthly showcases!
