Photographs by Michael Smallwood and Mark Wamaling
As the language or vocabulary of photography has been extended, the emphasis of meaning has shifted from what the world looks like to what we feel about the world and what we want the world to mean.

The photos if the exhibit represent the world of two artists who have known each other for many years and share an interest in nature. As artists both have worked in various mediums throughout the years but they have used photography to capture their vision of the American landscape as they have experienced it through their travels across the country.
