COWSPIRACY
On Monday, December 15, Reel and Meal at the New Deal Cafe will present the documentary COWSPIRACY: The Sustainability Secret – the environmental film that environmental organizations don’t want you to see.
COWSPIRACY is a groundbreaking feature length environmental documentary, following an intrepid filmmaker as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today and investigates why the world’s leading environmental organizations are too afraid to talk about it.

Speaker: Mike Tidwell, is the founder and director of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN), a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the impacts and solutions associated with climate change in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and beyond. He is also an ardent activist, author, filmmaker, and vegetarian. To learn about Mike’s views on the connection between diet and climate change, go to

In keeping with Reel and Meal’s annual holiday tradition of giving back to the greater community, we’ll be collecting donations for an organization (TBA) fighting deforestation in the Brazilian Rainforest. Please give!
